Not as Good as The Foundation 9s (or 8s) Aug 09, 2011
By S. Cirian I went through about 4 pairs of the Foundation 8s and loved them. I didn't like the 9s as much, so I was really looking forward to the Foundation 10.
Turns out they are a completely different shoe, way overcushioned and feel sloppy. More like the Brooks Beast, which I did not care for at all.
The 8 was great, the 9 barely OK, and the 10 sucks. I think Asics went in the wrong direction with this model - they should take a page from NB's book with the classic 992 and just keep making the Foundation 8.
I returned them and found a pair of Foundation 8s on the interweb. Will buy all I can get my hands on, then probably switch to a different brand, maybe back to NB.

These Shoes should be recalled Jul 25, 2011
By ww I bought a pair of ASICS foundation shoes. I hate them. These shoes should be recalled. The shoes are ill designed. The shoes "bite" my toes. Although I am a ASCIS lover in the past wearing ASCIS for three Marathon events, this type of shoes eats out my skin like crazy.

Foundation are still good Mar 15, 2012
By Alex I bought this as a replacement for my Foundation 8. Compared to the old ones it feels lighter, but the support is just as great (if not better). I ran over 100k in these shoes, they still look like new and no regrets so far.

Welcomed Gel Foundation Version Feb 21, 2012

"True Review"
I have owned the Gel Foundation 6, 7, 8, and now the 10. I think the 10 may be a tad heavier, but I have flat feet ans slight pronation. They really work for me, and these shoes have lessened the wear I fell in my knees when on a run. They come in different widths so if they feel like they are "biting" your toes you may have purchased a size that is too narrow. I would buy these again.

Great shoe! Feb 16, 2012
By Trailblazer This is a great shoe. I was recurring shin splints with my old asics that I later found out weren't meant for the foot type. I recommend it to anyone with flat feet.
