I bought this shoe as a replacement for another Asics which I did not like at all. The Phoenix 3 is a great shoe; very lightweight and soft.

I recently began running again (45, male, 185lbs)and committed to trying every shoe in my size in an effort to find one that had the least number of fit/comfort objections regardless of price (gulp).
After an hour each at 2 local stores trying on shoes from 39.99-139.99 I was amazed to find that, for me, the Phoenix 3's seemed to have zero complaints from my feet.
I expected actual road running to reveal the inevitable hot spot, lump, etc. but can report that, so far, no type of street terrain or running style results in the usual aches and pains. So I run more and more frequently.
If they continue to perform, I'll pick up a second pair for back ups.
Best running shoe I've ever owned.

I am 6'1, 225lbs. This shoe helped me get through my first half marathon, a goal for me I didn't think was possible. Great support.

I bought these shoes 2 months ago. They are perfect. comfortable, good looking and very good for running. I am using them for everything and now after 2 months they are still looking like brand new sneakers.

Comfortable, but the sole of the shoe started peeling off the body of the shoe after light use for 4 months. Seems like the glue used was cheap or defective. Would say I ran no more then 30 miles in them. Was dissapointed in the durability of the product.
