I purchased these shoes a month ago, and when the weather broke I wore them in the backyard to get a feel if I could wear them for 18 holes. Very comfortable shoes, but like an earlier reviewer mentioned a spike was missing when I took them off.When I went to purchase new spikes(at 3 different sporting goods and golf specific stores) no one carries the metal screw-in type spike anymore,they have a new plastic twist lock type. That tells me it's an older model shoe, and I will have to purchase another pair if I cannot find this type of spike online.

Good shoe like most Asics products, but threw a spike after two rounds and seller won't do anything. I need to buy a full set of spikes now?

This is a very comfortable shoe for the money. I especially liked the fit over other shoes w/ only 8 or 9 spikes. This one has 10, 4 under the heel, 6 up front w/ 2 under the ball of your foot, which I found gave me more support when walking. Most other shoes I tried put the spikes fore/aft of that point, causing a "sinking" feeling when walking.
As other reviewers indicate, the spikes do come loose. I lost 1 spike after 8 rounds of golf. Many were loose enough to remove w/ your fingers. According to ASIC's site, this uses the CHAMP Scorpion Stinger spikes. I found it to use the small metal thread attachment method. Champ PN 75610. Amazon has them for sale, verify PN though! Do yourself a favor and by a cheap spike wrench ($3) and torque them down a little w/ some threadlock, should be secure after that.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. I have worn them approximately 6 times since I ordered them and have yet to lose a spike. I bought them because they are versatile and I can wear them with black or brown. Great buy.

I bought a pair of these for my son who is playing junior golf tournament. They are excellent quality and fit true to size. He has no complaints at all (and believe me, he would complain if he could find a reason). As some of the other reviewers noted, the cleats are a little loose when they arrive. I put some threadlocker on the threads (they sell it on Amazon too) and tightened them up and have had no issues.
