gt-2160.. TRAIL.... what a success Sep 14, 2011
By trail_runner took these out to a few local trails which range in difficulty and intensity.. must say it worked splendidly for both sprints and distances..
fit is true to size and is just as comfortable as the gt-2160's itself

Comfortable and (relatively) stylish May 05, 2011
By Ellen I've worn 2100 series Asics for some time (approx. 8 years). These are similar to previous models. For anyone wondering, the trail version are virtually identical to the the non-trail version, only a more stylish. The grey is slightly darker than what appears in the picture, which is what I wanted.

By @runlikeyourdog The 2160 trail shoes appear to be more durable than the 2150s. No parts from the rubber sole have fallen off. Unfortunately they seem more cushioned than previous models. This is not an asset on the rocks and roots of New England. Overall the fit is perfect and I'll continue to purchase this line of shoes.

Better than ever Apr 30, 2011
By JK I had GT2140 before but this feels better. My feet are moderately overpronated and they feel very comfortable in these shoes when running/jogging. Thank you Amazon for selling this product cheaper than the retail!

Good Shoe, not sturdy enough Sep 14, 2011
By RNightz I am a life-long ASICS wearer but went with the trail option since most of my current running is on crushed gravel/dirt. I was very satisfied with the shoe until (like Akaki) the front toe box started tearing after only three months. This is the first time I have had this problem with a pair of ASICS and thought it was an anomaly until I read the other review. Now I am shopping for a new pair and I'm hesitant to repeat on this style.
