Great shoe for trail running!! I used to run with my GT-2150 (great for tread mill and road runs. But not for trail running). After 30min, the little stones and irregular trail surface used to kill my feet, so I tried the GT-2160 Trail Running. Now I feel I'm literally running on a cloud with them. No pain, no pressure points, very comfortable, light, and stable shoes. They seem very well designed and constructed too. Apart from a little dirt, they look just like the day I bought them, although I do use them A LOT!!

I am almost 70 years old and have always walked several miles each morning and/or evening and in recent years I do my walks on a 7-mile stretch of sandy beach. I have back, foot and knee problems for years and had been suffering more lately with pains in the feet up the legs and onto the back. My walks had been cut significantly due to lack of the right shoes and last few months when I walked around the house I had to use crutches or hold onto furniture as the PF was coming back and the pains in legs and back compounded my discomfort. Then my Sketchers slippers came. The foot pains (plantar fasciitis) left as soon as I started wearing them. Next, I donned the Asics 2160 sneakers (which came the same time) and headed out to the beach and they have risen to the occasion - except for a very little bit of knee pain (sometimes). I have been able to do my 3 mile walk at least 4-5 times a week and the Asics look as new as ever holding their shape completely. I hardly walk on the pavement as I am afraid of more joint trouble but shall take them around the block for a test and see what happens. I bought another pair of Asics at the same time but have not worn them yet.
One thing I have noticed though they seem to be a little snugger than when I first started wearing them - I have not washed them yet so I do not think they shrunk or do not know if my feet are spreading from the slippers or what. I do not have any type of swelling in my feet so it is not that. However they were a little roomy so I am still okay, So far so good.
I was pleased with the Amazon service.

Great feel and look. I really love these shoes. I have bought 2 pairs in different colours and am not dissappointed.

I had brought this shoe in Australia previously, but had been let onto the wonders of Amazon.com by a friend... so my $200 shoes here cost me $88, including postage from the USA. I'm very happy with the shoe - it's lightweight and sturdy, and causes me no problems when I run or walk. I'll be back again once I've done another 450km in them, I'm sure!

I bought these sneaks to wear when I went to Yellowstone last June. They were comfy right from the start.
I am now wearing them for walking on pavement. Still good.
