2ASICS Women's Gel Trabuco 14 Running Shoe  Mar 06, 2012
By traillover
I have to say I'm really disappointed with this shoe. I have an earlier version of the same shoe which I loved and wore til the tread was flat. I hike/trail run approx 20 miles a week. I had hoped for the same wear out of this pair, especially at $100. The shoes are very comfortable and they do add a spring to my step. Unfortunately, the back of the shoe is too high for my ankle and I immediately got blisters. Short socks always slide down inside the shoe too. Having allowed my blisters to heal I've stuck with these, mostly because I need the trail grip which is very good, and because I can't afford to buy another pair so soon. However, the shoe just does not hug my foot well enough. No matter how many times I adjust the laces (which are far too long) something prevents me from getting a good fit. My foot ends up slipping around in the shoe and I don't feel very stable. Perhaps it's the plump padding which compresses as you walk?

1Disappointing  Nov 25, 2011
By Reid McBride
I own the Trabuco 13 and love it. I thought the Trabuco 14 would be basically the same shoe, with a few modifications. I ordered the same size but the Trabuco 14 is huge. It feels like it's one size bigger. It has less eyelets therefore making it impossible to tie the shoe with the precision required. The laces are a foot too long! As well, there is next to no cushioning in the forefoot. All around a big disappointment. Will go back to buying my running shoes in a real store from now on.

1Stay away from these shoes  Apr 17, 2012
By Parksy
I have to echo what I am seeing in the other bad reviews. Size 9 Asics consistently fit me but these size 9s were HUGE. My foot slides around in them and it is very uncomfortable. I also agree the laces are waaaay too long and I would add that the way the cushioning is distributed through the shoe is just bizarre being very thick in some parts and lacking in others.

Find another shoe.

5Asics are the best  Feb 21, 2012

All others just dont come close. Every Asics pair I had were so confortable and fit well. The tricky part is to find some who look stylish too.

5ASIC Gel Trabuco - Great Trail Running Shoes  Apr 17, 2012
By ShoeFanatic
I'm quite particular when it comes to purchasing running shoes. These are very comfortable for running trails. ASIC's have never done me wrong.
