Really like them Sep 11, 2011
By JD I have recently been reading about 'Minimalist' running shoes and running with a mid/forefoot strike. I actually found these shoes at Kohl's for $64.99. My regular size seemed a little tight, so I decided to go a half size larger. I'm not sure if they are meant to be worn without socks, but I wear socks. I usually wear shoes with a lot of cushioning and a heel cup because I tend to run and walk on the outside of my feet due to high arches. I found that I would suffer from tendonitis on the outside of my left lower leg. I am certainly not a high mileage runner and have all but quit running over the past several months. I started running/walking in these shoes this week and am working on retraining my running stride to a mid/forefoot technique. After using them a few times, the shoes seem very flexible and very light. I've been increasing my runtime this week and actually ran 3 miles today for the first time in a long time. I found no problems with these shoes or any tendonitis. My calves were a little sore, but, from what I understand, that is to be expected when learning to run with a mid/forefoot strike. These shoes are advertised as low-mileage shoes, so I'm not sure if they would be acceptable for individuals who log a lot of miles weekly. However for individuals who run a few miles several times a week, they seem fine. These shoes, I'm sure, are not the minimalist of the minimalist shoes. But, I think they may be a good transition for people who are looking to try a minimalist shoe without going completely flat. I can't compare them to other minimalist shoes as I haven't tried any yet, but, so far, these seem like a good shoe.

I am returning these shoes Mar 30, 2012
By John Corrigan I am returning these shoes, although they look cute, the have very little to no support. I have tried wearing them a few times and each time I have sore feet, hurt knees and a sore back. I love asics running shoes, but these are not good for running or walking!!!!

Narrow Apr 10, 2012
By kel_per_83 Like everyone else said, the shoe is a bit narrow... I'm hoping to use a shoe tree to give my foot a little more wiggle room.

ok as a walking shoe, not so great for running Mar 24, 2012

When it comes to running shoes, I have been wearing Asics, and only Asics, for the past 7 years. These Rush33 shoes are not as comfortable as the Asics Gel or Kayanos. The Rush33 doesn't absorb shock as well, the sole seems harder. Therefore I only wear them as a walking shoe. Also the laces are really short, I have a hard time tying them (when I tie the laces the bow is tiny and comes apart easily). I don't have larger or thicker than usual feet, I have average width feet and the laces are too short for me.

Love This Running Shoe Feb 08, 2012
By Tonya L Sweatt I must admit I am a novice when it comes to running - less that a year - and I have tried other running shoes, NB - Ziggs, trying to make a connection for a comfortable run - and they rub or just make my feet tired... I can run in my RUSH33's on my treadmill to my favorite RUSH concert and altho I personally get tired, my feet don't. I will buy these shoes from now on. Now I cant vouch for running on a track in them but for indoor running - they are a complete winner in my book.
