I HAVE HORRIBLE ACHING FEET AND DANSKO HAS SAVED ME OVER AND OVER. I AM A NURSE AND MY FEET HAVE BROKEN DOWN FROM ALL THE STANDING ON CEMENT. I LIKE THIS MODEL REALLY WELL EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE OPEN IN THE BACK THEY STAY ON MY FEET. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND VERY DURABLE AND THE ADUSTABLE STRAP IS GREAT IF YOUR FEET EVER SWELL. I DON'T AGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS REVIEW AND WONDER IF THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT SOME OTHER BRAND OR SOMETHING. I HAVE MULTIPLE PAIRS OF DANSKOS AND ALL OF THEM ARE VERY WELL MADE AND DURABLE. THEY WILL PROBABLY LAST AT LEAST 7 TO 10 YEARS WITH CONSTANT USE. I COULD SELL THESE SHOES I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

My podiatrist told me to wear a shoe that would give good support and be backless due to an infection in my ankle. He suggested a shoe like Dansko because of their footbed support. I purchased this shoe in black from a local department store and loved it. They didn't have the cordovan color, so I ordered it through Amazon. These shoes not only are cute and very comfortable to wear but I'm positive they helped my ankle to fully heal with the support they provide. Even if you don't have a problem as I did, I highly recommend this shoe. The toe box is comfortable and they don't slip and slide on my foot as some backless shoes do. The strap can be adjusted for comfort and for me they are more of a decorative item as the shoe stays put without my having to rely on the strap. This is a first rate shoe and I intend to buy another color in this style.

This is my fifth pair of Danskos, and they are so cute! they go with everything (i have the bone nubuck, which i don't see offered here) and are very comfortable. they don't fit quite as nicely as regular clogs though--they rub a little (which is why i only gave 4 stars). I have worn them with shorts, capris, jeans, and skirts. definitely a good look for Dansko. Thinking about getting a black pair and a brown pair!

This shoe is everything it claims to be. My legs & back no longer hurt at night. I only wish it had a smaller heal-but otherwise perfect.
