Ecco has yet to disappoint! Jan 11, 2011

Ordered these last minute for a cruise my wife and I were taking. We planned on doing some fairly difficult hiking, and figured an old set of running shoes wouldn't work.
We were right.
The boots look great, and per usual with Ecco my "size" is always spot on. They were comfortable, and survived the wet rainforest and a trek up a volcano. No blisters, no pain, no problem. Although spendy, I'd rather have something that works from a reputable manufacturer than have issues that might affect my vacation. Excellent buy.

These boots are like all ECCO products...fit great right out of the box. I wear 9 to 9 1/2 USA, but 42 is always my size all ECCO's. I have worn 5 different pair of ECCO golf shoes, so when I needed hiking boots, I paid the higher price for the best. You won't be disappointed. When in doubt about size, try the smaller number...

Awesome boots!
I do a lot of hiking and had a great experience in the past with Ecco Trek II boots. This new model, Kolyma II has been very comfortable and excellent with keeping feet dry in a long hike when it rains. I purchased these boots and spent a bit higher on them as I have a long Everest Base Camp expedition ahead. I have a piece of mind with Ecco boots when it comes to professional hiking. I wore the other Ecco pair on another hike on Nepal and it was very comfortable for long hike.
