The super-comfortable ECCO Men's Tongariro Lace-Up Mar 15, 2009

"Quality and functionality without materialism."
I had open ankle surgery two months ago and got the cast off just a couple weeks ago. Since then my old Nikes don't fit my left foot well at all. I already owned a pair of Ecco Trek IV boots and because they were so comfortable, I went looking for some Eccos that would be a better fit.
I found these Tongariro Lace-Ups and tried them on. They are so light, so comfortable, and such a good fit, it's almost hard to believe. They aren't meant for strenuous running because they don't have all the cushioning of running shoes. But they're great for walking, light jogging, and all-around comfort.
As soon as I'm able to begin running again, I'm going to get a pair of Eccos designed for that purpose. These shoes are well-built, and though they cost a little more than the more popular brands, they're more than worth it. When you buy a Nike, you're buying the "swoosh" logo and the Nike name. When you buy Eccos, you're paying for comfort and quality.
Highly recommended.
