Incredible shoe Nov 22, 2010

Shoe's uppers are a gorgeous leather with a wipe-clean level of oil but not a gaudy shine level. Perhaps outside of the aggressive soles they could look very nice as a casual business shoe even though they almost act like a hiking boot (without the full hiking boot level of ankle support being low tops). The product picture doesn't do these justice, they are SHARP.
Fit was initially just a bit snug then quickly molded to my feet (within a few hours of wearing) and are now extremely comfortable. Lace them up extra tight the first couple times you wear them and they will fit your feet absolutely perfectly.
If you've been looking for a shoe that will look sharp with kakhis at work as well as jeans at home and won't be bothered by slushy parking lots and is so comfortable you'll be happy to wear all day you can stop looking- this is it. I was looking so long I was starting to think they didn't exist but these are it!
Of course for this price you could buy 2 or 3 other pretty decent pairs of shoes but they won't be as comfortable, versatile, and will all wear out before these show their age.

Your feet will feel like this shoe is an old friend from the moment you put them on. If you take care of them well, you can wear them every day for 2 years before the soles wear through. They are extremely versatile. You can wear them hiking a rugged trail full of zombies...take them home, give them a little love, then to boardroom meeting. This is probably the best pair of shoes the world has ever known or ever will know, the pinnacle of human achievement in cobbledom. If ECCO should ever stop making shoes like this, my feet shall never love again.

I have been wearing Ecco shoes for about ten years. I will not buy anything else for everyday all day long shoes. Ecco shoes last at lest 2 to 3 times longer then any other brand I have tried. They are well worth the price

I have many pairs of ECCOs and this pair is great but not as good as others (for example ECCO Men's Track II Mid Gore-Tex Boot). The Track 5 Plain Toe are comfortable, long lasting, and keep my feet dry in very wet conditions.

I work in a power plant and need a shoe that is:
1. Comfortable
2. Breathable
3. Non-slip
4. Boot style to protect my feet
5. Stylish (why not?)
And these Ecco Track 5 Lows meet all that (I have the black and brown pair).
1. I have bad ankles and these shoes are very comfortable. Plenty of support and cushioning and doesn't make your feet hurt. They fit a little different at first but after a couple wears they conform right to your feet.
2. Need to avoid the stinky feet syndrome when you're working hard. These shoes are breathable, have the "anti-stink" insoles, and keep your feet from overheating. I've been looking for shoes that will do this for a long time.
3. Good grip and great tread on these bad boys.
4. Boot style- check. You can see the picture and if you know what you're looking for, you know what I'm talking about.
5. These are pretty slick looking shoes. Very aggressive style, but it works very well when you see them on your feet. I thought the sole was too aggressive at first, but the look grows on you the instant you see them on your feet.
VERDICT: An expensive boot style low that is perfect in every sense. Worth every penny you spend and an even greater deal if you can find them below retail. I highly recommend these and will be using ECCO shoes from here on out.
