Great looking shoes but not as durable as other Etnies I have owned. Jan 13, 2012
By sonik My trusty pair of Adios that I had owned for quite sometime had finally worn out I was looking for a new pair of shoes. I saw these and remembered how much I had liked the Etnies I had owned before the Adios. I was really impressed with how long they lasted and how comfortable they were. I had those shoes for almost 2 years and they held up great. Based on this and the reviews here, I purchased a pair of these in size 10. It seems that Etnies quality has really dropped. While I like the styling of the shoes, the comfort and durability I remember being worth the expensive prices Etnies charges was not there. The shoes lacked padding and to top it all off they ripped out in the same spot on both shoes with 4 months. I am not particularly hard but when I buy a pair of shoes at this price I expect them to last or else what am I paying for? I can get cheap skate shoes at the local Payless or other stores. This pair of Etnies has disappointed me and changed my view of their brand. If you are hard on shoes be prepared to replace these quickly.
