These pair of shoes are the best pair of etnies i've ever bought, and i've owned at least twelve different pairs.
Pros: feels like your wearing nothing, the grip is amazing for skating, they are extremely light,
Cons: they are totally flat and do not support the curvature of your foot (but they are still really comfortable)

I bought these for my 9 year old, who skates and scooters. 47 days they lasted before holes developed in the soles. He never had this problem with Vans, so we're sticking with Vans. Not worth the $$$ for 6 weeks of wear.
