Kid loves it Jun 17, 2008
By A. Mallory My 2 year old is still too short to reach the pedals, even with the three adjustable seat positions, but he can scoot himself along. He loves this bike and everytime we go outside he wants to ride it. It has many different types of sounds with simple button pushes....(i.e. turning left, right, batman theme song, engine rev and much more). The stickers really add to how nice it looks but will start to come off if they get wet. He has had it for a couple of months now and it seems to be pretty durable. Of course the wheels start to wear but it's like any other wheel (bike, car, etc) that moves along the ground. The other kids in the neighborhood love it too. I would highly recommend this bike.

My 3 1/2 year old step son absolutely LOVES this bike! All of buttons that activate the sounds and the "Batman" music keeps him occupied all day long!
Very durable toy and easy to use.
Not necessarily an educational product...just fun!

Fun, but watch for easily broken pedals! Sep 23, 2008

I bought 2 of these trikes for my sons, ages 2 and 4, for their recent birthdays. One day after putting them together, a pedal broke off one of the trikes. Now, they are boys and they were having fun, but neither one of them has really been using the pedals. My 2 year old barely reaches and the 4 year old is still working out the kinks with pedals. I have been unable to get assistance from Amazon, so I'm just buying a couple of replacement pedals from the Mattel site for a small fee.
Overall, this is a fun toy that has lots of cool toys and brings out the SuperHero in my little guys. I know that they will lots of fun with these for years to come.

Great bike, hit as a birthday present! Jul 15, 2010

My in-laws got this for my son for his 3rd birthday, and it is great.
He loves cruising around on it, and constantly wants to ride it. In fact, his 5 year old sister loves it too. He constantly pushes the lights and buttons and pretends he's Batman. I would be surprised if it isn't the best of the three wheel "Big Wheel" style trikes out there, as the reviews of the original Big Wheel (it's a very cheap copy of what I grew up with) and other competitors are much worse from what I have seen.
Only downsides? It is on the big side, requiring a long reach with your legs to the pedals. My son is average height, and he just reaches the pedals. Some reviews complain that it is too big for a 2 year old, which I can definitely see. The wheels (just like the Big Wheel I grew up with) lack grip and slip on the slightest incline. No big deal.
Overall, love it.

Fisher Price Batman Lights and Sounds Trike Review Jun 01, 2010

As a grandmother finding a toy that keeps my grandboys happy is not often easy. After over a year and a half of hard use, these trikes are still intact. We use them indoors and outdoors. We have a large deck with ramps, but the boys often like to ride down the steps rather than use the ramps. You would think that the trikes would fall apart after that kind of use, but nooo. Highly recommend them to grandparents and parents thinking of buying one. Oh, the sounds and lights are still going too.
