Poor quality control May 19, 2012

I've worn Van's skate shoes for years, and I was excited to try the Globe Encore skate shoe. First thing I noticed was that they were constructed poorly. The tongue on the right shoe is about three fourths of an inch longer than the tongue on the left shoe. I imagine that the right shoes are made in one department and the left shoes are made in another department. Would not recommend this product to anyone. JC
