 Sizes run small Dec 08, 2007

I was so excited to surprise my daughter with these on her birthday. She was turning 7 and she normally wears a 12.5 or 13. When she opened the size 13's I'd ordered, we put the wheels in, got them all ready, and they wouldn't even fit on her feet. They were way too small. I reordered them in size 2 (with fingers crossed) and we'll save the 13's for her brother, but this was an expensive and disappointing birthday bust. Beware, especially if you are ordering these as a gift.

The Heelys were a great hit until the kids put them on and didn't fit. Why can't an item include the statement, shoe sizes run small? It would alleviate a lot of problems and make for happy customers. I was extremely disappointed to know after paying for a return of the incorrect size Heelys I could not exchange the shoe for another size and would be paying more to reorder the Heelys. A policy should be initiated by Amazon to disclose in an item description when sizing does not run according to regular standards.

My almost nine year old daughter LOVED these. I was a bit disapointed thought that on Christmas morning, she could barely squeeze her foot into them!! The information I read said to buy these a size smaller than her normal tennis shoe size--so I did. Word to the wise--buy at least TWO SIZES bigger. We almost could have gone three sizes.
I also thought that the wheels went into the shoe so that you didn't have to take them off and on every single time but that was probably my bad for not reading into them more. All I knew was she wanted them!!! They are a great quality and make a nice shoe to wear even just to WALK with and not ROLL!!! Overall, I would certainly recommend them.

Shoes itself is very comfy, cute and lovely. My 5 yrs old daughter loves it very much. But the size is much smaller than regular.

Wasn't sure how to rate this. Once we got the right size, my daughter loves the shoe. She wears size 2 so that is what we ordered. However, that was way too small so I had to hassle with shipping it back for a larger size. We got a 3 and really.. could have used a 3.5. Sizing runs smaller than any shoe I've ever seen.
