The breathable mesh lining is treated with Aegis antimicrobial solution to resist odor. A 15% recycled EVA dual-density footbed provides comfort and stability. Merrell air cushion in the heel absorbs shock and adds stability. This Merrell hiking shoe also has a 20% recycled Merrell Revival 731 sticky rubber outsole. This shoe/boot is a great color, pleasing to the eye...it appears to be made of all synthetic material althought appears made of other materials. This is the lightest thing I've ever owned ! I plan to use it when the weather is totally wet since it appears to be capable of being under water ! I wouldn't want to hike or wear it in the woods for long distances but it may work well. A good buy for the price !
