Disappointed a bit, Michael Michael Kors Oct 31, 2011

Ahhh, well. I thought this shoe would fit, as I assumed it would be too narrow and purchased the 9 wide. But I never got past the look of the shoe, frankly. It looked wonderful online as displayed, but the heel wasn't as pretty as it appeared. It wasn't placed in the same location as the kitten heels I adore. I think it had to do with the fact that the heel was situated further toward the front of the shoe than I had hoped, and that resulted in a rather 'squatty' look, particularly from the back of the shoe where there was no evidence of a heel present. This isn't what a middle-aged shoe lover of all things neutral wishes for!
Michael, Michael Kors, please try this same shoe in an elegant 2 inch heel and I will buy more than one pair. EVERYONE will buy more than one pair! We don't want to look stumpy and squatty, we want a 2" heel or even a 2.25", maximum please. This shoe in this color would have been FABULOUS in a 2" kitten heel placed toward the back of the shoe as is the norm for higher heels. As it stands now, this one went back, and I remain disappointed. And I thought I'd finally found the answer to the taupe heel...sigh...
