These are the best thing to happen to laces. They actually hold a knot without making a double knot. Now if only they came in more colors...

My latest pair of New Balance running shoes came with these laces and they are absolutely brilliant! They are made of soft nylon, just like the old style, but with little bubbles running intermittently along the length of the lace. These bubbles catch and hold the laces so they don't come untied. They truly work!! It may sound like a small thing in the scheme of life, but not having to re-tie my kids' shoes (not to mention my own) twenty times a day is a small miracle. In fact, I am ordering seven more pairs of these laces today to replace all my family's shoe laces. Also, I like that they come in a small variety of solid colors. No glitter or shiny little logos - just a nice, unobtrusive color. They come in different lengths, too, so be sure to count the number of eyelets on your shoes so you get the right length.

I first got these laces in a pair of New Balance shoes. I love them. Unfortunatley my dog does too. After he ate the laces in my shoes, I bought these as a repacement. They stay tied like no other lace. In fact, I think I will order more for my kids shoes. I was so happy to find that I could replace the laces and keep my favorite running shoes just how I like them.

Until I got these laces, I was constantly having to re-tie my shoes each day. Once I got these laces, I can go for months without ever having my shoe become untied. The bubble lace is a remarkable invention and for the price here, it is a NO BRAINER to upgrade any new shoes with these laces. These should be the standard laces in all shoes.
