It seems somewhat meaningless to write a review of shoes, since what fits great on me might not fit on you at all, and vice-versa. Nevertheless, for what it's worth, I really like these shoes.
It has not always been easy for me to find shoes that fit me well, and, although they were not a perfect fit brand new out of the box, after a few days of wearing them I can safely say that these shoes fit me great and are very comfortable.
If New Balance happens to be reading this... please keep on making these shoes, and other similarly good products!

Comfortable work shoes. New Balance has been good to my feet every time so far. I am on my feet for 11+ hours per shift (12 hour shifts) working as a nurse in a hospital. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend these shoes.

I like wearing the NB Men's 609 Active Shoes. However, when wet, they are like 'walking on black ice'. I have fallen twice in fast food restrooms on wet tile floors. There is no traction when the soles are wet.
At home, I tested my NB shoes with another of my name brand shoes. Again, the NB soles are very slippery, creating no traction. I believe there is a flaw in the NB Mens 609 that can
cause a very serious injury when wet.

This is a nice shoe, however, not as wide as most New Balance 4E. If you buy this one, it will take a break-in period to stretch out the leather.

This is not my first pair of the M109 New Balance shoe. I usually have 2 at a time. One for tennis and one for walking. When the tennis pair begin to wear out, I buy a new pair for walking. I prefer its all-white look and the comfort is great.
