Great shoe, glad it comes in gray rather than ever present white. This is the same last as several other New Balance shoes that I have had but the collar is so padded that it pushes your foot forward requiring a larger size.

I "fell" into buying these shoes when I couldn't find the discontinued 1011 New Balance Motion Control for a decent price in my size. These were special at Amazon, and I decided to try them. I am so happy I did. They have lasted me twice as long as the 1011 and the support is still there. I had foot surgery for a bunion and now have to wear motion control shoes. My feet never feel fatigued wearing these, they are highly recommended for anyone needing exceptional support.

I tried these on at a local New Balance store and purchased from Amazon to save a few (and yes it was just a few dollars) bucks. They are comfortable, sturdy and fits snuggly around my heal, which is where I have problems with shoes fitting me. I grew up being a Nike fan, but New Balance has won me over.

I just received shoes today. Really nice looking shoe but needs more insole padding. I have a high arch so I will have to buy some gel insoles. But overall very nice!
