very good Apr 20, 2011
By J. Murphy These are true to New Balance fit. These are great outdoor shoes. I use them to hike in the woods, through streams and muddy fields. I also wear them around on rainy days. They look good.
My feet stay dry unless I walk through a deep stream that is too deep for the shoes. But the great thing about them is that the water drains right out, and my feet dry very quickly. The bottoms are slip proof and have good tread. They are comfortable. Very satisfied.

Outlet Shoe Oct 28, 2011
By Jewel B. This shoe has hit the New Balance outlets and the price on Amazon does not reflect that. This is less than forty bucks on Joe's New Balance Outlet site.

Very Stiff Mar 23, 2012
By L. Schaub I have bought New Balance shoes before and usually love their quality, but I did not like these shoes. First of all they were hard to put on. They were very stiff and rubbed my ankles and toes. They actually felt more like steel-toed boots than running/hiking shoes. I would not recommend these shoes at all!

Short Laces! Sep 27, 2011
By SDS I bought this one without realizing that it doesn't have REAL laces. But that's not a big problem for me. However, the lace for this shoe is so short, that I had a hard time squeezing my foot into it, even after i extended the button to the maximum length. I do consider myself as a normal-high arch, but not to a degree where I ever had a problem fitting my foot in any of the dress shoes/sneakers/boots etc. And for the NB 1320 shoes that I got, i think the laces are significantly shorter than what's shown in the pic here....I have no idea why, but that's just the fact.
But except this problem, great shoes. Strong support for the feet and feels pretty comfortable.
needed waterproof May 03, 2012
By greatstateND I needed a waterproof shoe for an upcoming vacation. I think these will fit the bill. The upper portion of the shoe seems a little stiff but I'm hoping with more wear they will soften. I wanted more arch support so I have been experimenting with other shoe inserts. The lace system makes the shoe a little harder to get into but once tucked in it's a secure fit. The wide fit is right for my foot.
