Finally, a shoe that fits! Oct 10, 2011

This is the right shoe for runners with normal to narrow feet and into the whole minimalist shoe movement. I converted over to minimal shoes more than a year ago, and it has helped me overcome injuries that I had with regular running shoes. In addition, I have improved with my distances and times. I run 3-4 half marathons a year and am currently training for a full marathon.
I had been looking for a minimal shoe with the right protection and comfort feel, one that could handle road/pave running and easily switch over to hills/trails running (which I do a lot). I saw this shoe previewed in Runner's World and thought I'd give it a shot.
This shoe does the job. Plus they have great colors.
Another great minimal shoe is the Nike Free Run - great shoe but not too great if you are running through trails and hills (not enough grip).
This NB 1400 shoe helped me set a new PR in a half marathon this summer that involved running through some major rolling hills (a lot of legwork). And my previous PR was set on a flat road!
I have been using this shoes to train for the full so I went ahead an ordered me another pair.
If you are a serious runner and love the minimal shoes, then give this a try.

I bought these shoes for my wife and she loves them. She is training for a half marathon and couldn't be happier with them. She is slowly trying to change her strike from a heel strike to a midfoot strike and these shoes are a great transition.

I have been suffering from planters and other running injuries for a long time and I recently decided to switch to a more minimalist shoe, to reduce the amount of heel striking I've been doing. I am so glad I did. I noticed right away that my stride changed and my body felt great after running in the shoe. I most definitely recommend this shoe!!

As a beginning runner, I wanted a good shoe! These exceeded my expectations. My Dad has always been loyal to the NB brand, so loving the colors, I went with these. They are so lightweight, about 6oz per shoe and fit like a glove - I have a fairly narrow foot. I should have ordered 2 pair, one to sleep in LOL!!!! Well worth every penny!

I got These bc I was training for a half marathon and all the other reviews said they were a good shoe.. I love the colors and the shoe.. I should have taken into consideration that I have very flat feet so I need a little more sole cushion but I definitely got used to running in them after a few runs..
