3Good support, but heavy and uncomfortable  Jul 18, 2010
By Sharon
I just started running, and these were the first shoes I bought. I overpronate pretty badly, and the support that these provided were great and really helped neutralize my stride. Downside - not comfortable and very heavy. I went to a local store that videotapes you running on a treadmill, and ultimately had them record me running in these AND the Asics 2150. Asics 2150 were MUCH more comfortable, lightweight - I would actually want to just walk around in them all day. Best part was, the Asics corrected the overpronation just as well as the New Balance, so I ended up switching over to Asics.

May not work for everyone, but don't believe that your shoes should FEEL corrective just because they are.

5Love these running shoes  Jan 13, 2011
By Mountain Girl
This is the 2nd pair of WR850 New Balance shoes that I have purchased. Running ~10 miles per week, the last pair lasted about 18 months. The wide width with Smartfeet insoles fits my weird foot shape (bunions and narrow heels).

3snug as a bug in a rug  Sep 26, 2010
By needashoe
I really like the look of these shoes but they run a bit small and find my toes hitting the end of the shoe. So if you buy them get a half size larger than normal.

Delivery was fabulous, will use Amazon again.

3Not true to Size  Jun 28, 2011
By LW
This is my 5th pair of New Balance sneakers. I always buy 7 1/2. These sneakers in 7 1/2 were more like a 7. I ended up having to give them away because I wore them. Otherwise, I loved the look of the sneaker and the feel (notwithstanding that my big toes hit the end).

5LOVED THEM  Feb 08, 2011

I was happy I bought these shoes. I totally love them. For a female its is hard to find shoes to fit when my feet are so wide. I was always buy mens tennis shoes just to be comfortable. This were so roomy and fit.
