Nice shoes Sep 21, 2008
By M. Yeazle

I bought these shoes specifically for my walking class. They are very nice looking (always a plus:). They do seem a bit heavy. That could be because I tend to buy very light weight shoes (I really prefer going barefoot if at all possible :), so that could be the reason for them feeling heavy. They are very well made. I have put a lot of miles on them already, both on indoor track and outside on cement and asphalt and have seen no issues with them looking like they will fall apart in the future. (I hate when you just get your shoes broke in and they start to fall apart) Overall they are very comfortable. I did not have any problems with shipping or the wrong size or color.

Tight Fit at Sides of Toes Nov 30, 2009
By happycamper45 These shoes are much narrower than New Balance running or walking shoes.
I have a fairly narrow foot and the fit on this shoe were much too tight, allowing for a thin sock at most.

better off with nothing on your feet Dec 28, 2009

I have new balance shoes that I love. I am not sure what is wrong with these shoes but I cannot wear them. I would never try to work out in them. I just tried to walk my dogs in them and it was blister city. They are hard and stiff. I wish I had saved the box so I could have sent them back. I just had assumed it was new balance and they would be fine. Not so. Oh well.

The 622s Are Good, But Not My Favorite (575s) NB Shoe Jul 15, 2010
By T. Smith
Unfortunately, New Balance doesn't make the 575 shoe anymore so...
I bought these 622 shoes as a replacement . First, they are very nice looking (I love the pink trim!) and give you a little extra height when wearing them. =) But they are just not as comfortable out of the box as the 575s. These are a much stiffer shoe, and I'm still breaking them in, something I never had to do with the 575s. That being said, I can wear these shoes longer and they are much more comfortable than the pair of Reebok Easy Tone shoes I also bought recently.
One other minor detail I don't care for in the 622 is the width of the shoe tongue. I wish it was just a wee bit wider for better coverage when lacing up the shoes.
Once I get these broken in, I'm hoping the 622s will become my new NB favorites.

Happy May 06, 2010
By Debby Mcbride Love this shoe. The only shoe I don't have to try on first. Always fits my foot well plus was recommended by my podiatrist (when it was the 621 model).
