NIKE ZOOM VAPOR CARBON FLY TD Feb 03, 2012
By Kelvin B Nike Zoom Vapor Carbon Fly TD is a great product by Nike. I am a varsity football player. I got the cleats during our 7on7 football camp and I was very pleased. My coach said he saw improvement in my cuts. I also saw improvement in my cuts. The traction and grip really impressed me. It grips the turf very well. The cleats are very lightweight 9.9 ounces to be exact. It feels like your running with just your socks on.
The cleats are very narrow so if you have wide feet I recommend you to get a half size bigger. Besides the cleat being narrow there are a couple of other flaws. One thing the cleat lacks is ankle support so make sure you tape your ankle or wear an ankle brace. I'm a running back, and I sometimes play safety. I would recommend it to secondary positions, wide receivers, and running backs. I've had these cleats for about 5 months now and I live in upstate New York where the weather can be horrible and my cleats are still in good shape. The prices range from 99.99$ to about 160$ depending on your size and if you get them customized. But it's worth the price.

I currently own the Speed TD. I really like the shoe cause it's light and great traction. I know a few people who have the Zoom Vapor Carbon Fly TD, so I decided to get a pair as backup since it was cheaper than the $120 price tag at other sites. Haven't had a chance to run around with them yet, but they feel just as light as the Speed TD's I currently use. I also went with a size larger, as I did with the Speed TD, because these shoes run narrow and I want to try and avoid any toe injuries caused by running.
