Great basketball shoes! Feb 14, 2011
By Ronnie A. Delemos

Overall the Reebok Men's Zig Slash is a great basketball shoes. It has firm ankle support and it does extend the wearer's energy level. Younger players can really enjoy wearing this on the court. Now for individuals like me who has past injuries, just add padding (insole gels) inside to suite your comfort level. Again the reason I gave this a five star is because it did perform as advertised. But since each individual has different physical conditions that I added the advice prior. If Reebok adds more cushion inside then it would be perfect!

Great shoe - nice style!! Apr 09, 2011
By Marion Crews Bought these for my son's 13th year old birthday. He absolutely loves them. Good comfort, style, and flexibility on the court. He gets compliments from his friends as well. This is his first pair of Reebok's - normally wears Nike. Says he may get them in the low top as well.

average basketball shoe, good at the $40 price Sep 20, 2011
By SC I wasn't a huge fan of this shoe. I have been playing for the last year or so in lows (Kobe V's), but switched to this as my other shoes were wearing out and this was $40 on amazon at the time. I ended up sending it back, but mostly because it was too big (I'd suggest ordering a half-size small, these things run huge). After playing in lows, I definitely noticed the additional weight and the more restrictive ankle support. The heel-toe transition is decent, and the cushioning is excellent. Traction did not seem to be an issue, although I thought that the tread extended pretty far laterally. To be honest, I don't think I'll be going back to highs for hooping.
Order this shoe if you're a casual hooper looking for a shoe you'll play in once per week, you like high's, and you're looking to have some money. If you're playing any more than that you'll really benefit from something at a higher price point, IMO.

Unexpected Jul 19, 2011
By YoungLo I got these shoes in my regular shoe size 10, but I was surprised at how narrow the shoes turned out to me. I recommend a half size larger or even a full size depending on the width of your foot. 10.5 wouldn't hurt for me but its too late I need them starting tomorrow so I won't be returning them because they are the lightest basketball shoes I've ever won and look stylish as well.
