Sturdy, well made shoe my 10 year old uses for gym class Sep 12, 2011

My son still has difficulties keeping his shoelaces tied, and in gym class I didn't want him tripping over his them and getting hurt. Because of this, I was on the hunt for a well made pare of boys shoes that still had Velcro for the larger youth sizes. I wanted to make sure I found a pair that would last him the whole school year and not fall apart right away, as some we have purchased in the past have done.
I found and ordered these Reebok Running shoes in the blue, white and red color. My son is 10 years old and the size 4.5 fit him perfectly. They are true to size and he says they are comfortable to wear. He keeps them in his locker at school since they have to have a separate pair solely for gym class that aren't worn outside.
He uses these for all kinds of sports and activities every day in class and they have worked perfectly for him. There has been no issues with the Velcro coming undone or wearing out. They are a non-marking sole, so they cause no problems with the gymnasium floors. He finds them easy to take on and off and says they are his favorite pair of gym shoes that he's had so far.
Well made and the fit is spot on, these are a great basic boys running shoe.

i have twin 6 year old boys and they are TOUGH on shoes. first, these are sized correctly(it is very aggravating when a product is off). second, these are well-made and attractive. that gets 5 stars in my book!!
