2Not the old Reeboks  Oct 12, 2009
By P. Heimer
I wore these shoes for years while working in a factory. I was never disappointed with the shoe. The last three or four pair I have bought have not been the same as they use to be, and I no longer work at a factory job. I now have a desk job where I have the opportunity to sit most of the day and I only work four days a week. I have had these shoes since Sept. 24, 2009 which is approximately six weeks and the heels are already giving way which is what has been happening with the last few pair. I just keep hoping that I am getting select bad pairs of shoes but sadly I am finding that they all seem to be of a lesser quality than they use to be with support. I have always loved the look of the shoe and the softness of the leather was wonderful but I will no longer buy my old favs. I am going shoe shopping today as these are already feeling like they are wore out. My suggestion is to try another style of shoe these just aren't the same old Bok.

5You can't beat a classic  Sep 20, 2008
By a reader
I bought two pair of the Reebok Princess Sneakers recently. The price here is great and they are so comfortable and my feet feel fine even after hours of walking. I used to wear Reeboks all the time up to about 10 years ago and then switched to more high end walking shoes due to constant foot pain after an injury. These classic sneakers look good (they are not high tech and overly sporty) and they go well with most casual outfits.

1Not the same shoe it was  Oct 23, 2010

I wore Reebok Princess shoes, many pairs, for 20 to 25 years. I walked many miles a day in them. Never had foot problems. Loved the shoes. But no more. Within the past few years, Reebok stopped putting an arch support into these shoes, took away much of the sole cushioning overall, made the toebox tighter across the top, and messed with the fit in general. I can't wear these shoes anymore. What a loss.

The overall cushioning in the shoes had been getting less and less for a number of years. Many years ago the Princess and another Reebok shoe I wore were like walking on a pillow. No more.

In some outlet stores, you may be able to find in stock some of the old Princess shoes with the arch support. I was able to find such a pair two years ago. Now I can't find any like that. Now all I see are the new poor-quality Princess shoes. Apparently that is what is available here as well.

2Cheap, no support, not a good every day sneaker  Mar 15, 2010
By Amanda Anne Robbins
I always wear sneakers because they're better for my back, so I bought a pair of these in black for an event where I couldn't get away with my usual white sneaker. I wanted something without a lot of trim or decoration to make them less conspicuous and these looked perfect. I was disappointed by the quality. These are very cheap and definitely seem like they will fall apart. $40 is cheaper than the excellent $70 - $85 New Balance sneakers I usually buy, but these are more like $20 sneakers. No support at all in the sides and they don't lace up tightly. I will use them occasionally but the lack of support makes them pretty uncomfortable. I do not recommend them as an every day shoe, and certainly not something to wear while exercising or anything like that.

3What's the difference?  Oct 18, 2008
By S. Olsen
I bought the sneaker thinking that it would be different from the Reebok Princess classic shoes that I already have. Unless I was sent the wrong shoes, there is no difference. The model number 30892 is the same and they are not soft leather uppers.
