Order half-size up Dec 05, 2010
By Nick_Name I wanted to go ahead and warn any potential buyers that this boot runs a 1/2 size small, so be sure to order a 1/2 size larger. I got a great deal on these boots, but had to send them back due to their being too small. Unfortunately, amazon could not exchange them, so I can get only a refund, and now the great savings I got is not available for re-order. The boot, when I put it on (I was able to get into it, my toes came right to the end) was a good weight (not heavy or clunky), but I would've needed to replace the removable insole with something cushier and with better arch support. Great-looking boot.

great bargin! Mar 06, 2011
By texmexirish These boots are perfect for men who "abuse" their shoes/boots. My husband is very hard on shoes. He purchased a pair of boots similar to these, by another namebrand company, but they lasted approximately 6-8 mos. These boots have a good fit, good quality leather, the eyelets are metal and the lining is comfortable, I am told. The sole is a solid rubber that is very absorbant. The boot has a nice stitch around all around, to reinforce the ankle section. My husband is on his feet all day, and tells me his feet don't feel "tired". I also like how it looks "dressy" with a pair of jeans. This is money well spent!

It's not waterproof. Dec 24, 2010

This boot is the greatest, most comfortable things I ever got wrap around my feet. I got great deal here on cyber week. Love Amazon and Rockport for this. It is light, soft and confortable the first time I put in on. And I have been wearing it every day to work since. While having it on, I can't help but feel the comfort on my feet and it make me think about how awesome it is when I am walking in it. It keeps my feet warm outside and cozy inside. If you find it tight, then loosen the lace up and adjust to your feet. I am looking for good deal to store up more of this boot foot wear. Updates: This boot held up OK last winter. I didn't use it in the summer. Now I'm using it again and it is failing in the rain. The leather around the toes absorbed rain water because the socks around my toes got wet in moderate rain. It's not waterproof. I take back every good thing I said about this boot and Rockport.

Rockport Men's Aspen Feb 13, 2011
By Major Pain I have been a fan of Rockports for years. The Rockport Men's Aspen are very comfortable right out of the box. No break in time required. The quality is great as usual. These will last me at least 4-5 years wearing them on a regular basis. The uppers are full leather, insulated and water resistant. I didn't have a problem with the size, I ordered what I normally wear 10 1/2 wide. They look great and they feel great. Will definitely buy again

" Great all purpose Boot" Oct 24, 2011

These boots offer plenty of support and can be worn comfortably all day. The purchase price was very reasonable and the shipping was free. I also like the style of the boots but, I wish Rockport would replace the current "Addidas" insoles with the "DMX Dynamic Suspension" insoles previously offered by Rockport.
