I liked this boot as soon as i got it. nice shape and good construction. but the sizing was off in my opinion. im a 10 across the board and these feel like a 10.5 or 11. get half a size smaller and they'll be great

Although more expensive, Rockport always provided good value for the money. This boot is lightweight yet sturdy and very comfortable. I would not use it for strenuous hiking but it is perfect for light hiking and urban hiking. The wool lining makes it extremely good for cold weather.

I bought these boots as a gift for my husband after he had foot surgery. Initially, I wasn't sure what size to order because his feet are larger due to weight gain along with the surgery. He's been wearing a size 11 D, but since Rockport shoes tends to run bigger (at least in women's shoes), I ordered a 10,2E (Wide) in black. They're perfect! My husband says he likes the style and they aren't too heavy to walk in, so he won't aggravate the healing foot. Overall, the boots are well-constructed and could even be worn with business attire without being too much of a distraction.
Paying less than $90 for these boots on Amazon really is an exceptional deal. With free shipping for Prime members, it saves time, gasoline and the added expense of planning a shopping trip to the nearest Rockport Outlet Store located about 40 miles away. This is one very happy shopper.

I bought these for my 12 year old, but not to say they couldn't be worn by an adult. They are available in wide sizes, which my son needs, and seem to be well made. They are sturdy, yet not too stiff, and my son says they are comfortable. I'd say they run pretty true to size. He wears them in a half size smaller than his Nike sneakers, but shoe store employees tell me that sneakers run small. They are contemporary, but not so trendy that a mature man couldn't wear them, and they go great with jeans and cords. I'm hoping he doesn't outgrow them before spring. :)
