5Great shoe  Jan 13, 2009
By B. Morris "Sebastion"
Shoe is great for running or casual wear. Have been running for years and the Saucony progrid guides are so far the best trainer i have found. Plenty of support, and heal cushioning. Long lasting.

5Saucony Men's ProGrid Guide Running Shoes are the best shoes I've ever worn  Dec 24, 2009
By Eric B. Hendrickson
About two years ago, I went shopping for some running shoes at Big Peach Running Co. in Decatur, GA (which I also highly recommend for their service and prices). While probably not a unique service, Big Peach Running Co. was the first shoe store that I had shopped at which videotaped my stride while I was running on a treadmill to determine which sort of shoe would be best for me. They gave me a couple pairs to try on, one of which was a pair of the Saucony ProGrid Guides. When I put them on, I could immediately tell that they were an excellent shoe for me; they offered both comfort and support. After using them for two years, I pulled out the insoles last week and found holes in the big toe area of the inserts (the rest of the shoes are still in pretty good shape). I replaced the insoles with Dr. Scholl's inserts (which greatly improved these old shoes), but I also bought two more pairs. They arrived within 2 days (with free shipping due to my purchase of two pairs!), and they are awesome, just like my first pair. I hope Saucony never stops producing this product; if they continue, they will have at least one loyal customer for the next 70+ years.

4Good Ventilation  Nov 08, 2009
By T. Kramer "alohakramer"
I live in the tropics so it can get hot and humid causing foot sweat above the norm.
These shoes give me good ventilation to keep feet dryer then most I have tried before.
The heels start a little stiff but after about a week of break in time, they are a great, comfy shoe.

4good shoe for the price  May 29, 2011
By David
I had run in New Balances for several years, but decided to give these a try because I wanted a little over-pronation control and found these at a good price. I'd had minor pain in knees and ankles with previous shoes, but experienced no such problems with these shoes. My only issue is that the sole on the forefoot wore off fairly quickly (after about 300 miles).
