 PERFECT WINTER TIGHT Nov 28, 2011

I own two pairs of the Omni LX Tight. These are the perfect tights for colder temps (think 30 deg and below). Have worn them through a couple of winters now and they are no worse for the wear. I always hang mine to dry. They are warm and provide some protection from rain and snow without causing me to overheat. Bordering on thermal-weight these are definantley more substantial than most tights. I have these in both the Vizipro Orange and the Vizipro Pink. The highlighter colors are ideal for maximum safety in low-light conditions, day or night, and look great with my Vizipro Jacket and Vizipro Vest. (I mainly train on rural, hilly, curvy roads, often in wet winter weather, so visibility is a MUST). These are not compression tights but they are fitted. I am 5'3", size 2/4 and the XS is true to size for me, as shown on the model in the photo. The length is just right and I have not experienced chafing from the seams or ankle zippers. Other positive features: mid-rise, drawstring waist, and a rear zipper pocket large enough to hold ID, key, gels etc.

I should have paid attention to the other reviews. These tights are quite short and they are too thick. I prefer running tights that feel very streamline. There are bulky seams and the zippers at the ankles feel bulky and unnecessary. I would not purchase them again.

I'm a petite runner and these tights are too long and too high in the waist so I have to fold over the extra material.

I purchased these running tights for 3-4 mile runs in winter temps around 30 degrees. In addition to a wonderful overall fit, there are zippers at the ankles and elastic bands at the bottom to help keep snow/rain out. The zippers are a great feature for wearing thicker wool socks with normal running shoes. These are thicker than other running tights, but if you are planning to be out in cold weather more than 30 minutes, I would recommend using a second pair of pants on top of these.

I am quite tall (5 ft 10 in) and the long length fit perfect. Great for winter running! Very soft on the inside. They fit everywhere very well. I love these!
