5Say goodbye to arch pain!  May 30, 2011
By Nancey B. London "GSD LOVER"
I had pain in the arches of my feet for 39 years. I read about these shoes online and ordered a pair. Just in case, I inserted arch support inserts, and later discovered, they were unnecessary. Starting on Day 1, I had no arch pain whatsoever. It was a miracle! Who knew? Now, I can't be without them. They are even better than going barefoot. I use them to walk two hours everyday and whenever I will be on my feet for any length of time (daily!). After 3 1/2 to 4 months, I noticed the foot pain coming back and just ordered my second pair, upgrading to the Stabil CS2. Once again, arch pain disappeared and I take them camping every month now too, because they are kinder to the feet than my hiking boots on nomral terrain.

My gait is corrected, my alignment of my ankles, knees and hips is corrected. My posture is better and I even notice a difference in reduced hip or low back pain.

These shoes have been a Godsend and I hope Saucony never discontinues them.

5Superior arch support  Aug 28, 2011
By Aebaugh
I have suffered from plantar faciatis and bunion pain for years but these shoes give me the arch support my feet need. I've even been able to take Zumba classes and run in these shoes with NO discomfort. I highly recommend these shoes to any pronators!

4Different sizing  Jun 22, 2011
By E. Scanlon
This is my 4th pair of ProGrid Stabil CS. I generally wear an 8W and run about 25 miles a week. I feel like my feet are swimming in these. I double checked to see if they were an 8.5 that accidentally got shipped instead. The toe box is wider and deeper. Some may find this as a perk, but my feet full of blisters after 5 miles today do not agree. Additionally they are far more breathable than the previous model (CS versus CS2), the upper is just mesh. I think this is a good shoe, but I am sad the sizing is so off and hope I can get a refund for a better size. The support also seemed off, but I am going to attribute that to the larger fit.

5LOVE, LOVE, LOVE  Jan 19, 2012
By Mary L. Drake "ldrake"
I overpronate and have had trouble for years finding shoes that won't make my feet hurt. Everyone was raving about New Balance shoes but those shoes too made my feet hurt. Then I found the Stabil 6 and was hooked! They stopped making that shoe and I bought these and I have to say, these shoes are even better. They are lighter and more comfortable than the Stabil 6.

5Great shoe for wide feet that need stability  Jan 04, 2012
By milkweed
My feet are wide up front and average width at the heel. The wide width of these shoes have the ample toe box without the excessively wide heel of some wide-width shoes. I have high arches and the inner arch could be a little higher for me, but I stuff a rolled baby sock in the arch to fill-in. This is a trick a physical therapist taught me and it works to keep me running on the outer edge of my sole which keeps a knee with over-extended tendons from hurting. The shoe has a break-in time so give them a chance. These are the best fitting wides I've had in a long time. Very pleased overall, and would purchase again.
