5LOVE them!  Sep 29, 2011
By Ruth A. Wegelin
I registered for my first half marathon and decided to go to a running store to get fitted by a pro since I would be increasing my mileage. Tried on about a dozen different shoes and decided on these.
I have high arches, but a neutral stride. I have transitioned to a midfoot strike and these shoes have really helped. They seem to encourage a mid or forefoot strike. They are very lightweight, breathable, and extremely comfortable. I've been running in them for about 10 weeks now and truly have no complaints. I used to get knee pain when running, but haven't had any with these shoes. Perfect combo of light support in a somewhat minimalist running shoe. I can't recommend them enough.
NOTE: I did need to go up 1/2 a size for the right fit.

4Great shoe for the money  Jan 31, 2012
By Mars
I love these shoes. They were comfortable from the very first wear. I ran three miles the very first time they were on my feet. They have great support and a roomy toe area. I wear an 8 1/2 but ordered a 10 and don't regret it. Typically my big toe rubs, so I always get shoes a little big for running, and based on reviews these run a little small anyway. I would definitely recommend them, and might buy them again when I wear through these.

5Great Shoes  Mar 01, 2012
By Amy Styma
I am a beginning runner and am a slight over-pronater and had been getting some mild shin-splints while running. I just completed my first run in these shoes and ran my furthest distance yet and had no shin splints! They do run a little small, so I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a half size larger. A full size larger probably would have been fine, too, so I would suggest going up a full size if you like a little more room when you're running.

5Highly Recommended!  Mar 23, 2012

I have been running for over 10 years and these are one of my favorite pairs of running shoes ever! I recommend you order a 1/2 size up. They are light weight and comfortable for both short runs and long runs! I bought these to run in during pregnancy!

5AWESOME shoe but BEWARE THE SMALL SIZES!  Nov 10, 2011
By Hoschi
Over the last six months I have changed from a heel strike to forefoot running and after browsing through thousands of website articles I decided on the Saucony Progrid Mirage. Best decision ever! The shoe is extremely lightweight and has cushioning exactly where it's needed for forefoot running, under the midfoot. It has a mesh like upper which I find very comfortable, particularly on a hot day when you can feel the breeze on your feet. I will use them for Triathlons and could imagine that the water from the wet feet will drain quickly through the mesh lining. However I have not tried that out yet. There is one very important thing to know though. The shoe runs very, very small. I was aware of that when I ordered mine and bought them 1/2 size up as a lot of people suggested. I'm usually a European size 38 and ordered a 38.5, however the shoe was still too small. I ended up giving it to my niece and ordered another pair size 39.5! They are perfect!
