 Not what I would call a minimalist shoe Jan 03, 2011

They look great, are lightweight and are comfortable. I ended up returning them however because they weren't what I was looking for. I wanted something very minimalist but these actually have quite a bit of cushioning in them. Not a bad thing though if that's what you're looking for. As a side note, they came with an extra set of coordinating shoelaces that wasn't listed in the description when I purchased them. It was a nice bonus. Buy these is you want a lot of cushioning without being bulky. Skip them if you're going minimalist.

I was looking for a lightweight, flat one piece sole, workout shoe for my bootcamp workouts. This one fits the bill and is awesome. I had to get used to wearing a "skinny" shoe. They run slim and small. I got a full size larger than I normally wear and I don't wear them with socks which is great because the top is mesh and so my feet stay cool. If your workouts include a lot of lateral moves, jumps and such, I highly recommend this shoe.

bought the Saucony Shay XC2 Womenn's.
They are great to race with the forefoot on all terrains.
Fit perfectly and for the choice of size should do: measure the length of the foot and add 1 cm. If I have one foot of 25 cm. i take 26.2cm. U.S. 10.5. So they are right.
Arrived in Italy in 2 days. I seem to be running in a cat with a soft landing on the forefoot and quiet. They are comfortable, responsive, do not produce blisters. The price is great. I found much difficulty in making the order, I froze on the 'shipping address, saying it could send the ninth. Then I changed the password but do not know if it was for what he managed.

If I could wear the Saucony to bed, I would. As it is I wear it barefoot or hours, never a blister, lots of envious looks. I also own his bright-green cousin, which I got for $25 on the Saucony site. To find a size 12 women's shoe is not easy, I'll be looking out for more.

Great shoe if you are looking for a minimalist type shoe for barefoot/forefoot style running. Extremely light and comfortable. Make sure you order a full size up.
