Can't believe it's Sketchers Feb 03, 2012

I write this review starting with the admission that I once was kind of snobby about athletic shoes. I read up on gaits and types of foot strikes and the best running shoes, got the custom orthotics, etc. etc. I wasn't an expert, but I knew enough to know that one should never, every buy Sketchers shoes with the intention of getting positive returns. I've been curious about Sketchers recent development in shoe technology, though, and after a change in lifestyle towards not running as often (and subsequently not caring as much about the developments in footwear), I decided to try a Sketchers product to see if their turnaround was genuine.
I'm confident enough to say I think Sketchers could be the Apple of footwear, in that a once dying company can reinvigorate itself through a remarkable design. Whatever shoe designers they hired, they need to give them a raise, because they more or less created the iPod of footwear, in that these shoes have the ability to completely redefine the Sketchers brand for the better. The shoe is insanely comfortable, constructed better than my previous New Balances, Asics, and Brooks, and doesn't reek of the pre-teen Sketchers culture that has plagued it since the company's inception.
I'm looking forward to see if Sketchers can continue with what is a very innovative beginning.

very comfortable, true to size, the best skechers product to date, light-weight and amazing if your in them all day 8-12 hours working, like the other reveiwer said its like your not wearing anything on your feet at all, the flex tech. contours to your foot, a must buy and at a great price, these are like walking on a pillow all day, save your money that you would spend on reebok zig tech's and buy these

I love Sketcher shoes and purchased these for work, very comfortable and easy to walk a lot in. The shoes are very light and almost feel like you don't even have any shoes on. I will be ordering a second pair for everyday use. Two thumbs up!

Before these I had a pair of Shape Ups Trainer line shoes and I loved them. They held up longer than any other shoes I've ever owned and they straightened my posture the first time I stepped into them. These shoes are even better than my first pair. My only complaint is that the top part of my toes is thin mesh and it feels really cold in the winter. Anyone interested in these ill also forewarn you that with any shape ups you will have balancing issues for a few days. They make you feel like your going to fall down because the bottom is curved not just front to back but side to side as well

These are a major step forward in every way from the original Shape Ups. Supremely comfortable. Wonderfully light. Beautifully cushioned. A true bargain as well....
