Great for Plantar Fasciatis Nov 18, 2009

I was having some pain in my heels and these shoes are really helping a lot. I dont know why people say you need some time to get used to them. really comfortable and walking is a breeze. Posture is definitely better while wearing them. although I have only had them for a week, the pain in my feet is mostly gone. One word of advice, get these one size bigger than what you normally wear. save your money and buy these instead of splurging on something that costs almost three times as much. Overall, an excellent product from Skechers. Highly recommended for pain from Plantar fasciatis and for people who love walking.

Started wearing the Shape Ups a bit more than 2 weeks ago. I'm flat footed and have always found walking any distance or standing in one place painful. I'm speed-walking 4 miles a day in my Shape Ups with no pain whatsoever. Already notice improvement in abs, legs, etc. They're everything they're advertised to be and more. They look great too! I'm recomending them to all family and friends. Wish there was price conpetition. Would prefer paying less than the standard $110 or so for a pair. Lower prices will come in time.

Great Skechers Dec 15, 2009

I have always been a fan of Skeckers shoes. And when I saw they had this type of shoes that helps in exercise I just had to try them. I got them for a decent price, compared with other stores and I Love them. They do correct the way you stand, walk and run. I thought I had no problem with these things until I noticed the difference with these shoes on. And FYI: they do tend to make people look taller!

Very impressive! Dec 25, 2009

Just received these today. I ordered the navy blue model. They seem to be very well made. Almost as well made as MBT shoes. The only complaint so far is the insole was not very comfortable. But, I replaced them with insoles I had purchased some time ago, and.....problem solved. So, don't give up on them if they are not comfortable at first. You may have to replace the insole. Otherwise, I'm very happy with these Sketcher "Shape-ups!

Great!! Feb 15, 2010
By W. Mann I purchased a pair for my wife at Christmas, as she's been talking about them for a while now.
She LOVED them.
She works on her feet, and has some minor back problems involving a nerve. For her, she has to switch between flats, heels, boots, ect daily just to make the "load" on her nerve move somewhat.
After these arrived, within a couple days, she wasn't complaining about her legs and back at ALL!
I work on concrete in steel-toed work boots all day (12+hrs), 5 days a week. She mentioned I should get a pair to wear evenings/weekends and on vacation.
I ordered them, they arrived VERY quickly (THANKS AMAZON SHIPPING!!), and didn't even have a chance to "break them in" before we left for a 5-day trip to Disney/Universal.
Obviously, I brought my old shoes "just in case"...Surprisingly, I never unpacked them.
These shoes, within MINUTES, felt like they were the best fitting, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
We walked 3 of the 4 Disney parks (Epcots' World Showcase 3 times!!), both sides of Universal, out to dinner at CityWalk or Downtown Disney each night after returning from our hotel, easily 15-20mi in 4 days.
I was (am) simply AMAZED how well these shoes feel. No normal foot pain I usually deal with, no lightly-swollen knees (as has happened in the past after walking 3-4 days in the Parks'), no lower back pain....
Very comfortable, Perfectly sized, good look, and ....I NEVER felt "unstable" as some people have mentioned.
The ONLY time I even noticed the "curve" was while walking off of a moving walkway (remember, they are curved...so you need to raise the MIDDLE of your foot to keep from dragging), and while on narrow steps (again, its the middle that lands first...and you mentally have to "think"...its ok...my foot SHOULD feel like this).
After a couple hours, its just like any other shoe....just better.
I would HIGHLY recommend these shoes. Probably the best purchase I've made by far.
