I purchased a pair of men's Skechers Shape-Ups for my boyfriend after first buying a pair for myself. He put them on as soon as he got them out of the box and hasn't stopped talking about them. He's on his feet most of the day and loves the fit and cushioning. After wearing them for an eight-hour shift, he couldn't believe he didn't have any stiffness in his lower back or aching in his knees and ankle as he usually does the next day. He's already talking about his next pair! Ladies, if you want to do something special for your special guy, this is it! Thanks to Amazon, I got the best price on these shoes I've seen and they arrived sooner than expected. A great product, affordable price, and reliable service.

Shape Ups Doing the Job Feb 02, 2011

The shoes are helping to firm the muscles in my legs. It didn't take as long to get used to shoes as I thought it would. The information provided by the DVD is useful. I recommend viewing the DVD prior to using the shoes. I wear the shoes as much as possible and it appears they will be durable and long lasting. I have worked out in the shoes and found them to add an extra challenge, which has proved beneficial. The shoes have enhanced distance walking and my tread climber workouts. I have tried running in the shoes but I don't believe the model I purchased is designed for running. I recommend the shoes for those wanting to firm up leg muscles without the use of weights. My leg muscles are becomming firmer gradually without the pain and time spent lift weights. I am pleasantly surprised with the desired results of the shoes and recommend them to others.

These shoes are really comfortable and actually help you walk by promoting good posture and forcing you to to stay balanced properly. They run a bit small - I normally wear a 9-1/2 and the 10-1/2s I bought fit perfectly. I does take a bit to get used to balancing when wearing them.

I guess I did the bad thing and lowered my review of the product due to the issues I have had with the ordering process. So, this is in no way reflects how I feel towards the actual product, just towards this being my first actual bad order from Amazon but, they have compensated me and taken care of me very well for my troubles. This will keep me continuing to order from Amazon as my source for many products I wish to buy in the future.
The reason for this being a lowered review is because I will now own two pairs of these exact shoes because Amazon sent me black shoes the first time when I ordered this exact (black/brown) shoe the first time. But I decided to try out the shoe and see what they were like. As I said above, I feel they seem to be very well constructed and really help with the pain my feet have experienced over the years. They can be hazardess to walk in if you don't quite understand how you are supposed to step in them. The commercials say they are like walking in soft sand. I don't agree with this at all. To me, it's more like walking on soft foam all the time for I don't get the hard drudging feeling I get when walking in soft sand. They are a very stylish shoe and thus my reason for wanting the black/brown shoe as I have PLENTY of black shoes already. I like them because of the design, they don't seem to scuff over the toe or the heal real easy. I like that idea alot!
Thanks to Amazon for making it right as I hope when these arive at my door, I will get the black/brown shoe I initally ordered.
