 Great shoe for everyday, walking, or running! Sep 02, 2011

These shoes are great, whether you wear them for everyday walking like my mom does at work, or for exercising as I do. I find that they are extremely light weight and shock absorbent. I do not notice any shin splints as a previous reviewer mentioned. I don't know if they're actually helping me "tone" more, but they are so light and easy on my knees when I run that I don't care. I was originally going to buy a pair of NIKE, but these were more reasonably priced, attractive, and I don't regret it. Buy these shoes! They run true to size and come in half sizes.

I saw these at DSW and found them $16 cheaper on Amazon. I have a hard time with shoes and these fit very well. I use them for my work shoes - I am a RN. One thing I really like about them is that they are light weight so being on my feet for 8-12 hours a day this is a plus. At the end of a shift it doesn't feel like I'm lugging cement blocks around at the end of my legs. Size is true to fit & they have a fairly good arch support. I would purchase these again.

I purchased these sneakers about a month ago. They are so light and comfortable. I love the way they feel on my feet. I also noticed that when walking around on the wood floors in my home, my foot steps are almost impossible to hear. It's like the shoe hugs my foot in such a way that it forces me to walk gracefully. This comes in handy since I have a 4 month old and I like to sneak into her room while she's napping and check on her. It's much easier to be sneaky in these shoes.
I find that my feet are happier after a long day wearing these shoes. My other running shoes are Nike and my other walking sneakers are ToneUps walking sneakers...I prefer these. I am considering buying other colors.
Update May 2012: I purchased a second pair and they're still great!

These are probably the most comfortable sneakers I've ever purchased...and I've purchased many. The main thing I like most is the heel support and the weight of the shoe. They are super light-weight. They also look great! I plan to buy more in different colors :)

I bought these sneakers because they were 100% black and I could wear to work and use for walking and going to Zumba classes (I don't run). They were very comfortable and I was very happy with my purchase, but within a month, I noticed that the fabric in the toe area was wearing out and a hole was forming at the top of the sneaker. I am really disappointed with this. I paid more than I normally do for my sneakers, because I am committed to fitness and getting healthy, and I thought this was one of the better brands. I was wrong. I will not buy Skechers again.
