 Nice, comfy sandals Jul 30, 2010

These shoes are nice fisherman-style sandals and great for wearing to work if your office is air conditioned. The strappy coverage keeps your feet from getting too cold while still allowing you to wear summertime sandals. As one reviewer indicated, I noticed that one shoe felt a little tighter than the other at first; but after wearing them several times, each shoe is now very comfortable. These sandals are not quite as comfy as the Skechers Dash style sandal (hence the four stars instead of five), but they have helped my posture and a few back issues. I am ashamed to admit how many pairs of Shape Ups I own, but feel they have been well worth the investment as it's now hard to wear any other type of shoe. The rolling, cushy comfort has become extremely habit forming! Needless to say, I highly recommend them. For many, sizing in the sandals has been different than the Shape Up sneaker so consider going a half size down when ordering.

Skechers Black shape up sandals Oct 30, 2010

I am very happy with my new black skechers shape up strolling sandal. I have been wearing them now for three weeks and believe my lower back feels better and my posture has improved. The only problem I have is the soles of my feet get black from the sandal.

I purchased these sandals last week and they are fantastic so far. When I was trying on shoes, I noticed that these are a tight fit in comparison to the same size in other sandals. I'm counting on a little bit of stretching with increased wear, but that has yet to be seen. I wear these shoes not for fitness but everyday wear due to plantar fasciitis. They are comfortable, easy to put on & remove, and not entirely hideous.

These sandals are my go-to shoes - they still fit snugly although they have loosened a liiiiitle bit. I wear them all the time with no discomfort!

I bought these sandals (in brown) before summer 2011 began, as well as some tone-up sandals. I was lucky enough to get them for $35 at a shoe discount store, but I would not hesitate to pay full price. They are that nice! First, I think they are better than the tone-up variety. I get more support for walking, and they are more comfortable. They are also very durable. These are the first sandals I have ever bought that still look newish after an entire summer of wear. The quality is so high, I expect to get several years of wear out of them. The fisherman style is great for people like me who cannot walk in sandals that have no back strap. The picture on the Amazon product page is accurate - that is what my sandals look like. They are fairly unisex, so that I think a man could also wear these. I liked these so much, I intend to buy a pair in black.
Highly recommended to Shape-Ups fans. But, for those who have trouble walking in the shape-ups sneakers - skip these, they walk the same way. My only gripe - Sketchers does not make a shape-up or tone-up sandal in white...

Normally I wear Skechers in size 10, because this brand runs small, but I bought size 9 as I won't be wearing socks with these sandals. That said, I love these sandals! They are very comfortable, easy to slip on and off, and they provide a lot of support. I have plantar faciitis, and these sandals make walking around the neighborhood a joy again. Highly recommended!
