 Wonderful for aching feet Sep 13, 2010

The new XF (for EXtended Fitness) style of Skechers is a wonderful addition to their product line. They are intended for longer periods of wear than the original Shape ups. I have the original Shape-ups (Action Packed) and love them for their comfort. However, the originals are not intended for all day wear and I need a shoe I can wear all day at my work where I am on concrete or hard tile floors most all day. The Superstep XF has a lower profile sole and provides more stability yet also has the magnificent inner foam that feels so cushiony. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I have felt a great deal of relief when wearing the Shape-up originals and now this XF Superstep. For sandals, I rely on Fitflop Oasis thongs and their Roma sandal but for shoes, these Skechers cannot be beat! Let me add that the Superstep is a nice clean white with silver accents and it looks understated and classy. My standard size fits perfectly. I know some people complain that they run narrow or small but my feet are borderline wide and these regular widths fit great for me. Length is perfect too. I am so glad I bought them!

Wonderful shoes for solving back pain issues. Feb 18, 2011

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. Before these shoes, I could not do a lot of walking in stores without my back hurting. Now, I can almost sprint through the stores in comfort with NO back pain. The soles of these shoes are a great and needed cushion for the body. I am convinced that if I had worn these shoes two years ago, I would saved $1000. to $1500. in chiropractic services. If you have any pain issues from past injuries, these shoes are a MUST for you.
BUT I also recommend going to a store and trying them on for size BEFORE buying them from Amazon or wherever. Amazon has the cheapest prices on them that I could find and are very quick shipping.

Walk a mile in my shoes Feb 05, 2011

I wanted to try this type of shoe but was cautious. A reviewer mentioned that she wore these for long hours, so I wanted to give them a try. They are terrific. As a nurse working 12+ hr shifts, miles and miles, these are wonderful. Not as high a profile as other shape-ups, these do the job. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a shape up with good arch support.

Great shoes for standing or someone with a bad back! Apr 04, 2011

I've been debating on getting either a pair of the Skechers shape-ups or the Reebok equivalent, but didn't want to spend the money because I wasn't sure if they'd work or be worth it. Last week these Skechers were one of Amazon's late night lightning deals and were discounted to only $40 so I jumped on it. I've only worn them 2 or 3 times so I'm not sure about the actual shaping up or fitness side of it yet, but so far I've noticed that not only my walking and standing posture is better when I have these shoes on, but just standing in general is so much better for me. I hurt my back almost 15 years ago and long periods of standing really kill me. I wore these shoes this past weekend while out shopping for a few hours and surprisingly my back didn't start hurting at all -- not while I was shopping nor after I got home. This is a first for me in a very long time! I definitely feel like they were worth the money, even if I had paid a higher price for them. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who has to walk or stand for long periods of time, and/or for people who have back problems.

I love these shoes. The white and silver design of the shoe is stylish. The shoes are extremely comfortable and great to walk in. I know many people have commented that Skechers do not run true to size. However, for this particular style, they do run true to size. I wear a size 6 medium in all of my shoes; I ordered these Skechers in the 6 medium and they fit perfectly! I got these shoes on the lightning deal for $39.95... what a great buy for a really good shoe!
