I ran at least I marathon per year, I had old nike running shoes (4 years or running with them) and are more confortable than this ones, the shoes are heavier and the cushion is worst than an ordinary running shoes.
You really don notice the spring technology the claim to have

I felt a bit suspicious of the reviews on Amazon, so here is the real deal. I am a 58 yr old, 190 lb ex-sprinter who has been distance running for about 16 years. I usually wear Asics but bought these on a whim. My Volare's have about 100 miles on them now. While the cushioning is pretty good, most people like me would find the shoe unstable. It is NOT lightweight like the reviews say, but is a bit heavier than your typical running shoe, and definitely is clunkier. Nothing has deteriorated in the first hundred miles, but that should not be unusual. Finally, I would try them on before buying online. The have an unusual fit. The heel and ball of the foot for my 11.5 fit well, but the toe box is pretty narrow. For the same price as other more proven shoes, I might only try these as a second pair to start out.
