We bought this for our six year old daughter as it is a color that is allowed at her school. It seems to be very difficult to find navy blue tennis shoe that meets the criteria & that my daughter liked. She has been wearing this shoe for about week & just loves it--it fits and is comfortable. We bought it 1/2 size smaller than normal--a 1.5 instead of a 2 that she usually wears, and that seems to be perfect. It was a bit high priced, but if it continues to stand up & the odor guard continues to work as well as it has so far, it is worth the price. (Being an active child, our daughter goes through cheaper shoes rapidly, especially with a dress code at school.)

This is our second pair of these shoes in the next size up. The M width in this style works well for my son's wide width foot. Light weight and easy to clean.

We're very loyal tsukihoshi customers (for 5 years!) but this model is absolutely not what we had expected! Our daughter got them 3 weeks ago and they stink like crazy. We've washed them, sprayed them and aired them out (believe me, we can't have them in the house) but these shoes just don't breathe. I would NOT recommend these at all - buy the arisa model instead!

They are very narrow. I ordered a size larger and they are still too small. Also, they don't have much support in my opinion.

I would not recommend these shoes. My pre-K child started wearing these August 8 and as of today, they are already coming apart. I had to super-glue the top of the shoe to the upper so he could wear them today, until I can take him out over the weekend to shop for more shoes. For $ 50, I expect shoes that last more than three weeks.
