Better than Barefoot Apr 08, 2011
By Brenda A. Rodgers I bought these in Hawaii and used them to walk from my Condo down an asphalt path; then hike down a slippery red-mud slope to the bay below; then walk across the beach; then put on my flippers (right over the top of the booties) to go snorkeling. Get the picture? These booties go everywhere!
Here's everything you want to know: 1) They don't have a thick sole, but the sole is rugged and I did use them to hike down to the Queen's baths including hiking over the lava rocks... it's almost like walking in your barefeet, but better. They're not sturdy like a tennis shoe. They're more like a rugged, protective sock. You'll feel the earth beneath your feet. Don't get me wrong, they're very well made and well-worth the money. 2) Because they're only 1mm thick, they are great for slipping your snorkel fins on over the top. 3) The over-the-ankle high-top, with adjustable ankle-strap keeps out the sand when walking down the beach... better than any other bootie or aqua-shoe I've worn. How cool is that! 4) The split toe design (only the big-toe is split, the other 4 toes are together), tread-like bottom, high-top design and foot-hugging neoprene make this the most comfortable, versatile, well-designed bootie I've ever worn. I immediately jumped on Amazon and bought three more pair to give as Christmas gifts.
Their sizing is true. You want these to "hug" your feet. Remember... they're very soft and comfortable. Buy them in your shoe size. (I normally wear a 6 to 6-1/2 and bought a 7. They're just a little long. I wish I would have bought the 6.)

reef booties Sep 22, 2010

these are extremely comfortable, a plus - they have vent holes on the side to allow the water to escape which is not mentioned in the seller's description, I recommend them to everyone who asks.

size runs small Apr 27, 2012
By luv2surf i used the sizing chart but when i received my bootie it was way too small. my foot measures 9 1/2" and the bootie is only 9" long and it does not stretch when wet. i am going to return it.

Alright Jun 26, 2011
By Clint Shireman I bought theses shoes to use with my fins and I don't care for how they feel. But for walking on various surfaces they're great. So I would recommend, but not for diving.
Very comfortable, not extremely tight! May 24, 2012
By Michael E. Bohl These dive boots/shoes fit well and seem to be rather durable. Have not had in water yet, but just wearing around are very comfortable. Should work will in flippers.
