 defective product - Does Merrell stand behind their product? Mar 28, 2012

We are a family that has used Merrell products for over five years, this brand and style of shoe has held up in the past; our son loves this shoe, however the last shoe pair puchased was defective, the Z strap broke prior to the shoe being outgrown and worn out. It lasted 6 months of normal wear. The authorized Merrell dealer has been contacted through Amazon.com for replacement of product, we'll see if they honor and stand behind this product.

These are great shoes. However, I ordered a size 10 and they were barely big enough for my granddaughter's foot. We had to exchange for half size larger. I had bought her size 10 in a couple other brands that were perfect. I would say these run small and you may want to order half size larger than normal.

"Daily Survivor"
These boots are great. I ordered them for my son and he loved them very light but rugged. He is a huge Bear Grylls fan and he would call the his suvivor boots. He would wear them to do just aboutanything. His favorite thing was that he didn't have to tie them easy to put on and easy to take off. I liked them so much when I saw them that I got myself a pair unfortunately I have to tie mine. These are great boots unfortuantely he outgre them. But I wouldn't rule out getting another pair.
