 Disappointed in these... May 25, 2012

I have worn this general style of Adidas running shoes for many years, but I found these ones disappointing. The upper was stiff and inflexible, and they were sized smaller than I expected (I normally wear a 9, but these were very tight). It seems that to hit this price point, with this style, they are dropping the quality.

Best buy for the money! I live in a small town, retailers here carry this shoe only in certain sizes. Amazon made it quick and easy to order and shipping was prompt! This shoe is comfortable, stylish and easy to care for. Simply the best sport shoe i've owned.

The Adidas StanSmith has been a favorite sports shoes of both my husband and my father-in-law for well over 30 years. Adidas has maintained the quality of this brand and it never failed to make it sooo comfortable to wear each time they buy a new pair. No need to break-in to feel the comfort. Now it has become a tradition and the need to wear Adidas StanSmiths has been passed on to my son who also loves the shoes.
Oh yes, the shoes came just in time for my husband's birthday. It took less than a week to get it.

I have worn these shoes for years. They are still good shoes and very comfortable, but not the same quality as they have been in the past.
