Great Long Distance Shoe Feb 06, 2010
By Mario Landeros I have always run in Nikes but I decided to try this Adidas shoe because of all the positive reviews I heard from people and online. I have never been happier with a long distance shoe. It is extremely light but can take a pounding that long distances give you.

Great racing flats Sep 04, 2009
By Dock I ran almost 200 kms in these shoes and the bottom line is that they are definitely 5 stars. Although you can find lighter (Nike Lunaracer, Adizero Pro), they are still light shoes: mine, in size 11 US, weigh 230g. But they have more support and cushion in the heel than the Adizero Pro which are essentially designed for 10k races while the Adios are much more versatile, up to the marathon. Also, they are incredibly dynamic and give a quick rebound. The forefoot is wide enough for me while generally speaking I find the Nikes too narrow.

Great light distance shoe - for the narrower footed Feb 08, 2011
By Nick I've owned these shoes for ~125 miles, spent entirely on roads. My pace in these is always about 30seconds faster per mile than I think, due to the very light weight.
Speaking of weight, I wasn't sure these shoes would handle my 180lb frame, but these seemingly thin shoes are more certainly up to the challenge. My legs feel good after long 15-18 mile runs and I've not suffered any foot pain.
I have a neutral footfall and a narrow foot - Asics, Brooks etc. are all typically too wide at the forefoot. I first tried Adidas properly over the winter when my local running shop offered me the TR3 (another awesome shoe) and I finally found the fit I've been looking for.
If you have a high foot you may find these a little tight - you don't need to pull hard on the laces to get a good, comfortable fit. Oh, and the laces may look snazzy but they offer practicality too as the raised patterning on them helps them stay tied without any need to double knot.
I'll definitely buy these again in 3-400 miles time.
Awesome shoes Apr 15, 2011
By Jhalley Really nice shoes. It took me a while to get used to it though. The first time I ran with them, I ended up with calf and ankle soreness. The thing that I really like is that my shin splints have disappeared after I started using this shoe. The only shoe that has managed to do that for me so far.
