I have worn these all winter and they have kept my feet dry and warm. I live on a college campus so I do a lot of bike riding and walking and they have held up great.

Love the shoes...my third pair over the years!!

Similar style to Samba, but the Samoa has more cushion on the sole and offers a soft leather top. The rubber toe is convenient, when running around and bumping into things.
When walking around at times, it feels as if you're foot can slightly shift from left to right, instead of staying directly over the thick sole. This is probably since the leather upper is so soft. However, this is not an inconvenience since its such a slight shift.
You never feel pain when walking around in a pair of Samoa's since the cushion of the rubber sole is so strong and the actual inner sole is made with slight ridges for extra comfort and stability.
Samoa's last a long time and remain comfortable for the entire time you own them.

It's a great shoe with a great design. Feels comfortable over all, however the front of the shoe rubs on the top of my big toe and has caused a blister of sorts. I believe this is due to the design of the shoe being somewhat restricted in the front with little room for my toes to feel comfortable which ends up with the top of the shoe rubbing on it constantly after a long days work. This causes mild comfort issues and if I could return it I would (problem came about after 4-5 day usage).

Love ADIDAS, not the Samoa Feb 17, 2012

I bought these thinking that they were like the ADIDAS Superstar, which in my opinion is superior to the Samoa, which I know is a very popular shoe.
The outside of the shoe seems thin and flimsy, compared to the thicker leather of the Superstar.
I am sure that this is a very fine shoe, but for my money, I prefer the style and quality of the ADIDAS Superstar.
