Depends on the season Dec 21, 2008
By C. Blackwell This was my first pair of running shoes, and I have been reasonably satisfied with them for the price. I now run about 15-20 miles a week, and the shoes have suited me pretty well so far. The problem is, I purchased them in July and had no trouble with them through the fall months, but now that it's gotten into december I've realized that the whole ClimaCool thing is not such a cool innovation when it's 20 degrees F outside and icy or 45 and raining. The mesh is even on the bottom of the shoes, so if you hop into a puddle or into a pile of snow, good luck trying to run on frozen or soaked feet. As for the padding and shock absorption, I feel the shoe has sacrificed these features to make great patches of mesh in the bottom of the shoe. It is still pretty bouncy in the heel, but I try to keep a midfoot-to-forefoot gait pattern, and the shoe just does not have enough arch support or forefoot support to keep my feet happy. Sometimes they get sore late in the run, and for the past few weeks I've had some ankle and arch soreness in my left foot from underpronating a bit in these shoes. I'm thinking I'm going to get a more expensive, better supporting (and waterproof) pair to get through winter). But if you're looking for a cheap pair of pretty good running shoes to get you through hot summer runs or the safety of your gym, these aren't terrible.

great for sidewalk running; horrible for XC Oct 19, 2008
By Annie Mouse These shoes are awesome for my long distance runs on pavement, with *amazing* airflow that keeps my feet nice and dry (except when I step in a puddle!). But when I took them out on a grassy hill for an XC workout, stuff got stuck in the bottom of the shoes and I could feel every little bump in the course. So they're great if you're a city runner who doesn't really care about running in the grass. But if you're an XC kind of girl, I wouldn't recommend them. Mine are also approximately a half size too large, so buy down a size.

Awesome Running Shoe for the Price May 07, 2008

This is a very sleek and modern shoe, that looks awesome when you put them on. They provide superior cushioning, so much so, that I could barely feel any impact on my feet while running. In addition, they're very lightweight and the ClimaCool technology is a definite plus. I would highly recommend this shoe for runners on a budget.
Not sure about sizing down. Mar 24, 2012
By norcal I really like these shoes. They seem very light and cool..just what I was looking for. I paid extra for overnight delivery. I followed everyone's advice and ordered 1/2 size smaller. When they arrived....they felt like 1/2 smaller. Now, I have to pay an addition $5 to return and then, reorder. Wish I had ordered my regular shoe size the first time. These shoe's are becoming quite expensive because of my own fault.
